And there are even funny/weird moments like when Gohan's teacher is reading in Engrish and the passage is kinda strange.
As for Gill/Giru, I give Funi a pass on that. We all know Asians can't differentiate l's and r's well, and he actually pronounces it "Giru" in the original Japanese version. Same thing as Bulma being pronounced as Buruma/Krillin as Kuririn.
