I was watching the episode right after Goku goes ss against Frieza. Even on the uncut orange brick edition, he still talks about "bringing everyone back to this dimension..."

The problem with the subbed version is the audio just sounds awful, like some old cartoon from the 50's with mono.
Edit: The dialogue on the dubbed version of Kai is a lot better from what I've seen of it.

I hate the subs because I cannot take goku seriously when he sounds like a 10 year old girl.

Went back a few pages and definitely agree about the pussification of Gohan. I thought the character development for Piccolo and Vegeta were the best.

Goku's original Japanese voice has never really bothered me. It's the quality of the voices (being in mono and old as shite) that breaks it for me.

None of that bothers me. I like it better actually. I mean they do the same thing with Bart Simpson when they flash to the future. Also, that Faulconer guy is awful. Original Japanese music reminds me of a Super Nintendo JRPG for some reason. And you don't have to constantly have music playing in the background.

Yea, watching it for the 1st time, you knew it was coming. It was only a matter of time for Vegeta. When he interviened with the Android and Goku, you just had the feeling he was about to kick it up a notch.

yea for an instant second...soon as he turns SS he is already calling Goku out after saving him from the android. Vegeta is definitely one of my favorite characters of all time.
