Yes, the A&M loss was a fluke and a lot of it went back to Butch Duhe's passing earlier in the week. But LSU's other two losses were to Final AP #2 Notre Dame 3-0 and #1 Nebraska 17-12. That 1970 team was as good as anybody, Ohio State and Texas notwithstanding.

Yeah, this was in Sports I. that week; I lamented over this photo many times! Isn't that Mike Anderson he is going over?
