My team is too damn mediocre...

This is why I prefer 10 team leagues.

More, better, players to go around...

Imagine if we had that extra roster position this season... The Free Agents out there right now are just GOD AWFUL! This season is just mediocre all the way around... In Fantasy AND on the field..

Better to strike out at the dance, than to be left on the front porch. It isn't going to be easy for the falcons. The NFC is stacked with really good teams. I wish we were in the AFC this year. Bears, Giants and 49ers are all going to be tough. Not to mention Green Bay.

It's going to be sad that the lone falcons fan dominates the Aint's FFL two years in a row...

(but i really need one of you guys to trade with me... c'mon someone has to need Cam or big ben...)

Your only shot at keeping the game within 3 tds is our offense starts cramping up in the 2nd half from running up and down the field on your D (or lack thereof)

And with Sproles being out (my opponents has him) I may not need a D to win this week... I'll play it by ear as game time approaches...

Pierre Thomas was a nice little grab for you now. That's why you can't judge trades right away. Most of the time it takes a couple weeks, but Cobb and Pierre will outscore CJ by 30 points this week.

From the Saints Talk Board:

quote:

When the Saints announced that running back Darren Sproles would miss Monday night’s game against the Eagles following hand surgery, they were vague on the timetable for his recovery. But the usual recovery time for an injury like the one Sproles suffered is four to six weeks. That’s the word from ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, who adds that there is optimism in New Orleans for an earlier return than that. It’s not clear how Sproles suffered the injury, which is to his left hand, near his wrist. The good news for the Saints is that they’re deep at running back — so deep that Chris Ivory has been growing frustrated because hasn’t even played yet this year. Ivory is expected to play for the first time on Monday night, along with running backs Pierre Thomas and Mark Ingram.

I'll take 4-6 weeks of primarily Pierre!

Doubt that, but I'm hoping for good.

Yeah sorry I was on the road for 10 hours yesterday. Pretty pumped about Brandon Marshall's performance (3tds). Should be able to ride that to a 4-5 record. Just need two more wins to make the playoffs...

Oh yeah and did everyone enjoy the Sunday night game?

Only thing that makes me feel decent about that trade is the fact that run DMC got hurt
