Don't really get how people aren't giving him a chance at all. One of the greatest defensive players ever and by the end of his career he will likely have 450+ HRs and 2000+ hits to go with that. That would get my vote.
8 seasons with 30+ HRs, 15 seasons with double digit HRs, 2 monster seasons back to back of 51/128 and 41/129. He really went to shite at the age of 30, but he has turned into a solid platoon player to end his career.

A few years ago everyone was saying absolutely. Now after a few not so great seasons at the twilight of his career everyone is saying no.
He isnt a first ballot HOFer, but he is most definitely a future HOFer. He is already considered one of the greatest defensive outfielders and I would have to say, over 400 home runs could almost guarantee you a spot in the HOF.

He has the second highest defensive WAR of all time if you, like me, don't place much value in gold gloves.
