What is the primary purpose of them now? Infomercial for products?
I see rich n famous guys on private land killing monster bucks in places most folk can't go.

What am I missing?

I fricking hate hunting and fishing shows with a passion. Seriously. I think they are dumb as hell.

Nice to look at for sure. But not the reason I'd set my DVR.

I refuse to watch those hunting/fishing informercials. It's all they are.

The hunting shows are pretty bad. Product placement and unrealistic ideas for the average hunter.

I like watching fishing shows though. At least the ones on public lakes

Fishing shows are a little different. Fishing mostly takes place in areas the common folk can get to. Not always tho.

But I hardly watch them too.

Tried to watch one the other night and it was an obvious plug for a brand of lure masquerading as a legit show. They had little luck fishing and surprised it aired. Blamed high wings and a cold front for their troubles.

Are we regarded as that brainless to eat the commercials they feed us without regard for costs and usefulness?

I'm sure Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean and the guy who pitches in the MLB and makes 8mil a year bust their arse to hunt. Much less hunt public land.

One season in my shoes and them frickers would give up hunting.

Chipper and them do alot of the work on their ranches.....Luke Bryan and Aldean just show up for a weekend or two to hunt....I'm sure their schedules don't allow much time for them to manage their own properties

Aldean and L.B. are obviously just there for entertainment purpouses. It also helps them boost their "redneck" street cred
