in court with the IRS...
MOBILE, Alabama -- The sale of Alabama football legend Kenny Stabler’s last piece of property brought in $157,000, but it was not enough to satisfy his tax debt to Uncle Sam.
A federal judge in Mobile last week issued a final judgment in a civil case, declaring Stabler and his company’s tax debt to be more than $265,000 plus interest...
Stabler also enjoyed a second career as a broadcaster, providing radio commentary for his alma mater. But he left the air in 2009, following his 3rd drunken driving arrest. A Robertsdale city judge acquitted him of the charge.
The DUI charges are part of a tumultuous personal and professional life that also has included 3 marriages and the IRS problems.

Discussion: Coaching Weaknesses- Haslett seemed to be always enamored with great athletes that weren't much of football players. Bum Phillips valued once good now washed up players much too highly. No better example than the Snake. 3 years in NOLA, 11 wins as a starter, 17/33 TD to INT ratio. At least they signed him as an UFA. They gave up #11 overall 1st Rd draft pick in trade for Earl Campbell when he only had 13 starts and 208 carries left in the tank.

His ex-wife used to be the Meteorologist for Channel 6. She was HOT. She's having her own problems.
