Staying in new orleans this weekend near the FQ and looking for dinner recs. Doing dragos for lunch and commanders for brunch on sun. Looking for a casual ~$50 range dinner for two on sat night. Reccomendations?

Not near the FQ, and not anywhere close to $50 per couple.

The couple could eat there for 50 if they don't drink. Hell, you can't eat at the Krystal in the FQ and drink for under 50 bucks. Therefore, I didn't consider this criteria.

You do realize that eating in the FQ is going to suck this weekend, don't you?

Adolfo's on Frenchman might fit your needs. Get there early.
Coops Place is casual, but pretty good.
You could eat in the bar area of Antoines for pretty cheap if you do a few appetizers and such.

While the shows are going on at the superdome this evening, the FQ area shouldn't be too crowded.

Haven't been yet but Three Muses on Frenchmen sounds good. My buddy works there. Everything made in house.
