What happens if Eric Gordon gets hurt before July 11?

What happens if Eric Gordon gets hurt before July 11? Lets say he has a career ending injury. Will the Sun's offer still be on the table or can they retract it? In no way do I want this to happen.

They can't officially offer him until July 11. Nothing is binding at the moment.
