How about a Gordon S&T to Indy?

Since Portland offered Hibbert a max deal and Indiana being on the fence to match it, do you think they would seek Gordon in a deal from us?
Maybe Danny Granger and a draft pick for Gordon? I know it's probably a long shot with them already having Paul George, but I figure he has the size (6'8", 210) to move to the 3 and allow Gordon to play the 2.
What say you HT?

That's terrible. Older players are not what this team needs.

We also don't need more extremely young and in proven players. We would then look like the early 2000's clippers.

any deal involving EG10 to Indy, must net us Paul George.
And to people that think that Indy wouldn't give up PG, you are kidding yourself.

well, you don't trade for a 29 year - old, in the prime of his career swingman when the next two best players on your team are 19 year - old rookies.

I'd be more than OK with Paul George coming here don't get me wrong. I just wasn't sure if we could net him. I figure Granger, despite his age, was the more likely option. It helps that he's from here originally. Plus, we need some veteran presence on the roster and a guy that score at the 3.
I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to NBA basketball, but I figure this would be a step in the right direction both on and off the court.

I didn't mean go ahead with the granger trade, I'm talking in general.
I'd take Paul george though.

Indy would absolutely give up George to get Gordon. Probably Hansbrough or DC as well, or a first round pick.

NPGNC
and George is running about 6'10 these days, he grew last offseason

Monty always talks about length. Paul George at SF and AD23 at PF....I don't know if you can get much longer than that.

Since he wants to be a BIG BABY BITCH, lets ship his arse off to a sinking ship and take all they have like umm... the Raptors, get back Bayless a great backup and throw in Demar Derozan plus a draft pick.. yea he'll hate Bendict Arnolding us

I'd entertain the idea of Paul George + DC

If we send out Gordon and get back Granger instead of George, I'd be interested in Leandro Barbosa as a S&T as part of the deal.
Barbosa is a good scorer who could either be a 6th man off the bench or start at the 2 while he mentors Rivers.

Salaries don't match unless Indy wants to give up a huge trade exception.
George is making $2.5m and Collison is making $2.3m.
Gordon will end up making probably $10-12m.

Let's trade him to the shittyest team possible and get the least in return just to spite that bitch!

Paul George, Collison, and a few draft picks

I do not believe Indy wants EG on their team.

Not at the expense of Paul George. That would be just stupid.
Now Granger, yes. He would be a guy that would actually want to play here. The only problem with him is, he doesn't have any longterm value to us. With his contract expiring in 2013/2014, we'd be in a similiar boat as we are now.. we would be scrambling to trade another player for more young pieces/draft picks

I don't know. I think with the money we'll have available Granger could be locked up long-term. Like you said, he'd want to be here since he's from here. I don't think he'd give us a hometown discount, per se, but I think he'd be willing to help build a winner here. He's in his prime and could be here past his current contract.
