also, love this movie. Very underrated.

I saw an interesting comparison from another board..

They compared the yuppie attitude to that of American Psycho to Weekend at Bernie's.

Meaning that was a comedy, but showed a small example of how people can be so oblivious back in the 80's. The guy is dead, yet two guys try to benefit off it. They'd rather think of future gain instead of doing something like call the cops. There are people so caught up in themselves that they dont even realize the "Big shot" is a corpse. Everyone is consumed about being in the "in crowd" that they seem to care less about the person, but more about the status.

It'd be funny if that actor was so excited to be playing the title character only to find out he was literally playing a role a dead corpse could.
