Chelsea's inability to create goals from open play will inevitably come back to haunt them if they don't fix it ASAP. As I told Red, Chelsea didn't particularly play too well today. They exploited Arsenal on the weakest facet of their game. A perfect game plan really, but Arsenal was the worst I've seen of them so far this year. Chelsea managed to create only 5 total chances today against Arsenal. To put that in perspective, Liverpool created 15 against the same team 2 weeks ago.

Oscar, Hazard and Mata are all great players, and will continue to be great players. But I'm not so sure playing all of them together is the best idea. Starting Moses ahead of one of them would do wonders for Chelsea's shape IMO.

Don't disagree with Oscar being the odd man out.

Maybe but I felt aside from the 5 minute stretch on either side of halftime and the last 5 minutes Chelsea controlled the game for the most part.

Did you see our league cup game? I know it is concerning but these guys are learning to play with each other and under RDMs system. It takes time. To be top of the table during an overhaul of this magnitude is overachieving.

Just the highlights but that was against a Wolves B team.

Like I said, nobody is complaining about the results but picture I don't think it's a sustainable formula for success. The schedule is about to get a lot tougher and we have to find a way to create more goals/chances if we want to be on top this time next month.

I want more goals/chances as well. Although I think they will come.

I agree 100%. That doesn't take away from the fact that the defensive and set-piece play were 2 of the few redeeming qualities today. The midfield was in shambles, both sides were sloppy and very very few chances were created. They did what they needed to win, but not much beyond that.

It's hard to argue that Chelsea isn't the best team in the league right now. Ya'lls schedule is a blessing that has given the squad the ability to come together with relatively little pressure on their back. Can't wait to see what this team does when the schedule heats up

This was actually my response to beast. Not only are there there completely new pieces working together, there's two crucial cogs (hazard, oscar) playing in the PL for the first time. There's just a learning curve. Like you said bho, to be top of the table is so much more than any chelsea fan would have asked/expected a couple months ago

The game was really sloppy, which favors Chelsea's physical style over Arsenal's finesse style. Arsenal's movement wasn't dynamic enough to really damage Chelsea.

Chelsea is a club of rebels and their fans are too. It pains my to say this but I can respect that.

F 'em. I hope we play with a chip on our shoulder all season. I'm glad Cole stood up for himself and his captain. That being said, you can't call the FA t*&*#. Gotta be smarter than that.

Ca$hley just went up a few notches in my book. As stupid as it was, I will always support anyone who criticizes the FA

All Chelsea players need to do now is wear "CAPTAIN. LEADER. LEGEND" shirts this weekend and they will be my new favorite team

Very tough stretch coming up in the EPL

@Tottenham, Man U, @ Swansea, Liverpool, West Brom, City.

And that's not counting Man U in the LEC (2 games in 3 days ), Shaktar twice in the UCL and Juventus.

So far so good, but we'll know more about this team when we come out of that stretch.

Wish we would have taken Torres out yesterday up 3-1. He needs some rest.
