The Henderson sub was a stroke of brilliance. We've been calling for him all year and we finally got it. The defense has been magnificent.
Yep. I love Suso, and I think he has a great future ahead of him, but he is just too hot/cold for me right now. It's clear to me that he is not ready to be an everyday starter like how Rodgers has been using him. Especially not when we have solid experience guys who can contribute and bring stability on to the pitch. Like Hendo.

Can I just say Jose Enrique is the bomb and "I told you so". Jose Enrique reminds me of Luis Garcia (albeit physically he's 4 times Garcia) in how he can produce moments of sheer brilliance and then frick it up massively at the same time.
Henderson was Gerrard-esque at times. He should have really put away that chance. It would have given him a great boost of confidence.
However I didn't think Suso was particularly poor. His substitution was purely tactical felt. Wigan were doing a good job of marking Suarez in the first half. BR countered that brilliantly by putting Henderson in and letting him control the midfield. It moved up Gerrard into the hole behind Suarez and let Sterling push further up giving the attack more teeth. With more players forward it freed up Suarez and the rest followed.
