That is true, I tried a Mesmer but it seems I was ducking and dodging for my life but I decided to roll Necro (Use to be Nerco/Mesmer back in the old days of GW1) and for some strange reason, I cant figure out how Duel Dagger can work or Dagger/Warhorn.
Right now, i am doing Scepter/Dagger and Staff (if I can ever find one)

Thx for the input fellas...seems if I want a pvp caster, elem the way to go.
Just use trading post to get new weapons while leveling...shite is dirt cheap. Lvl 34 weapons for 35 copper .

You have to be up close and personal to use duel dagger. I've messed around with it a little but it definitely make you more squishy. I usually roll axe/warhorn and staff.
