If you do certain things, collect certain things, etc. in GW1 you accumulate "HoM Points" Each point gets you something up to level 30, from then on you only get titles every 5 points or so.


You have to do things like:
Complete Each Campaign (and on Hard Mode)
Buy High-Level Weapons
Buy Specific Armor Sets
Collect Hero statues (hero + hero armor)
Collect Minis (If you have an old account with old characters, they have bday presents with minis in them)

Etc.


These give you different minor bonus/equipment in GW2. Better Starting Armor, unique weapon skins and weapons, mini-pets, ranger pets, and titles.
