Tennis- the most mentally challenging sport playing against someone else. Where you have to get the other person to run their little arse off to get to the ball, charge the net to throw in a wrinkle and have two serves and know when to use them. Yes is it mentally challenging!

Golf- the most mentally challenging sport against nature. the phrase "A good Walk spoiled" refers to how tough the game is between the ears. Knowing what your shot is going to do every time you step on the course is something very few players accomplish. You have 14 weapons that could fail at any time if you tell them to, but will act perfect if you tell them also. There is no sport like it, you control the outcome completely, no opposition to get in your way, just the course and your golf swing!

Fair points, but you better have more than two serves or you are going to get killed. The arguement I have against golf is you can be coached and calmed down while playing it. In tennis, you can't be coached during a match at any level.
