LSU fans: How hard was LSU recruiting kicker Daniel Carlson?

I read where LSU coaches offered on the spot after a camp, or something. Just wondering. Thanks for the help.

We offered and would have accepted his commitment I think. NOt much else is known. He's a damn good kicker though. Congrats.

We have a preferred walk on kicker (like our starting pk, alleman was) coming in also. Not sure how bad we needed him anyway.

I always trust Chris Sailor's rankings on these things and can't seem to find him on any list there, what year is he (I looked at 2012 and 2013)?

Hairston is only a sophomore this year though and is the heir to Alleman...he holds a scholarship I believe.

This is what I heard - We wanted him but had no room. If there was a spot at the end we would take him. Sounds like the staff knew it wasn't in the cards.
