just got back from GI. Launched from the first bridge and fished the marsh north of LA1. Caught 2 rat reds, one nice one, and lost a monster.
Good trip but now I'm dead
PS- Couldn't ask for much better conditions. Wind picked up a little late morning but nothing i couldn't handle

thanks for the report. Glad you caught a few, even though I'm sure you had a few choice words losing that monster. 
I'm going down there with my yak on Monday. Mostly to surf fish for specks. Although, I will try out the marsh for reds during the day.
