My Dad had taps played at his funeral a few weeks ago by an Army Rep and it was flawless.....

The first "Hold that Tiger" notes at midfield for a particular season applies for me as well.

I had the pleasure and honor of playing that tune in Tiger Stadium for 4 years. The sound on the field of the stands' reaction is equally awesome!

I've yet to experience something more moving. It's a fitting tribute to those who have served, and it gets me every single time.

Sincere condolensces.

My Dad passed away 2 years ago and the Vets payed Taps and 21 gun salute. I will remember that for ever. My Dad served 26 years and this was such a respectful send off.

My next vote is for the four corner salute.
