You haven't been paying attention to the early reviews. It's supposed to be quite good.

I watched about the first 7 minutes of that preview, and it definitely looks more compelling that the previous Spiderman movies. But I abhor Toby Maguire.

Really? I didn't get that feeling at all. When I first heard about this reboot, I was going to wait for it to come on Netflix but, at this point, I'm probably going opening weekend.
Its funny because the two movies that most people and myself would've banked on being absolute shite were the Xmen and Spiderman reboots and I think we're going to be dead wrong on both.

wish i would have just avoided this preview. i was really looking forward to it but god the first 15 minutes of that preview was dreadful

The CGI looks horrible, and I'm not one of those "CGI always sucks" kind of people.

They're setting up the Premier for tonight about 1 block from my apartment next to UCLA. Red carpet is out...street is blocked off.
I might walk down tonight but to see how packed it is...only have an interest in seeing this because I hated Toby and Sam's take on the first franchise. It was too bubble-gum.
