Don't mean to hijack the thread... But, shore gas vs. marina gas? I happened to drive by the onshore gas station on Grand Isle (real gas only). Needed gas for the boat. Not even thinking, I put 87 octane in the boat. Question is, does that matter? Engine is a '94 200 Johnson Ocean Runner. Afterward I looked for specifications on what the engine called for but couldn't find it. Anybody know the answer to this? Sidebar question - what do marinas usually sell?

Bout .20 cents difference where I usually buy it. Not sure about with this truck, but in my old one my MPG's improved enough on straight gas to make up for the price difference.

It shouldn't hurt your motor to run on 87 octane. That's all I ever ran in any of my motors.
