the Petrino hire was awesome and well worth the risk regardless of all the red flags from Kentucky to Atlanta.
With that said, we were close to a Muschamp before and think we should offer it straight up to Kirby Smart for 3-3.5 million. It is evident Jeff Long has an idea of how he wants this search to go.
That is he wants coaches pursuing us which is not happening then he can say to our BOTs that look we need to hire another North East weak coach of the month since that is his background and all he knows. Except guess what this is Arkansas fool. No one is going to accept Dabo or Grobe.

Please not Kirby Smart. He hasn't even been a HC yet.

Nick Holt could be involved somewhere on the next staff. His hire was pretty much buried and wasn't talked about a lot, which makes me suspicious.
