At this point we need something. It was working when he was Kentucky before as OC. You could argue it made Couch the #1 pick when he left.

Larry fedora is a solid guy but if I were him I would stick it out with UNC. 10th most populated state, no true football power inside (he can make his own), weak conference at present that he can contend for every year, NC is a beautiful state....

With Long's connection to Pittsburgh, another name to keep an eye on is Paul Chrsyt.
Long may not go there because that would put his old school in the awkward position of having to hire their 5th head coach in the last three years but Chryst is definitely one of the top pro style offensive minds in the country so it might be with he bad press.
