Seriously? Yes USCe is on a role as of late, but there is no way I would trade their program for what LSU has accomplished.

Would definitely trade our last 10 years for theirs.

100% agree.

Good for South Carolina. I'll be pulling for them in the final.

I get your point how unsatisfying is it for us fans. Go 13-1 in football win sec then lose natty to team we beat on their home field. Then Win regular season in baseball and a team we took 2 of 3 from at their house is about to win it all. Disappointing to say the least I would trade both sec championships for nattys all day. Its like the most bittersweet season I have experienced as a tiger fan.

USCe is by far the best program right now. There really isn't a debate.

If they win it all, then 3 in a row is something Skip could never accomplish and it would only be a matter of 3-4 seasons before they supplant LSU as the best dynasty ever in the SEC.

Honestly, why? To me it just undermines the one sport we had, at one point, a competitive advantage over everyone in our league and that's being undercut by their success. Why root for them? Because they're the SEC? Seems like more SB talk where people say that because they are too afraid to say that they don't want our place given to them.

Agreed. Which is why I really don't understand statements like this:

It's probably a silly reason but I don't want any title, in any sport, to go to a PAC-12 team. I just don't like them.

That's really the only reason.

And I generally pull for SEC teams if we can't be there. (Provided it's not Florida in this case or Alabama, in any case )

Point taken , yes their last 3 years have been great, but a program is more than just that.

I'm not trying to be a dick so I hope this doesn't come across this way, but this makes no sense to me.

For football, to an extent, I can understanding rooting for the conference simply because at this point if LSU were to lose in football, and every other team in the country had a loss, the SEC team won't be left out.

But for baseball, why root for them? Let the Pac 12 team every title if LSU can't. Why do we want other teams in our conference to overtake our prior supremacy. Rooting for them, IMO, is rooting against our best interests because people are too afraid to be honest about it.

I usually always pull for the SEC against OOC teams, especially the Pac 12.But because of the circumstances I will make an exception this time.Geaux Cats.

Agreed. And that's why I referenced their past 10 years, which have been better than ours. Once you get outside the decade, LSU begins to stand out. But we can only live on past success for so long.

Didn't take it that way. Like I said, I just don't care for most PAC-12 teams. I know I said PAC-12 teams in the last post, I meant most of their teams. The whole USC garbage did it.

Like I said, it's a stupid and silly reason. Mostly derived from football.

At least I admit it being a stupid and silly reason.
