Nfl live finally reporting on the side of the saints

Mark schlereth, chris carter and bill polian just showed us some love and said they think goodell will reduce suspensions to avoid law suits....it will re air at 1am central so dvr to watch for yourself

Yeah, shocked me.....they made a good point that Coaches life spans are a lot longer than players so to suspend vilma for a year far outweighs a coach missing a year

kinda figured at some point they would. Its nothing to happy about though

Hopefully the guys can get their suspensions reduced.

Thats all I have to say about that.

That's great, but......

Vilma's lawyer, in an interview with Florio, stated that Vilma will accept no punishment and that he (the lawyer) is to proceed as such.

I've heard this argument used before and don't understand it. The argument shouldn't equate when doling penalties.
No matter how you slice it everyone involved has been given too harsh a penalty.
