Bought 2 "chicken ticklers" at brookshires. Two breasts wrapped with 2 strips of bacon with a spicy stuffing. Grill or bake?
I wanna grill to make sure bacon is crispy. Thoughts?

bacon takes about 5 minutes to cook. chicken takes about half an hour in the oven at 375. so I would take the bacon off, cook the chicken for about 15 minutes, lightly cook the bacon on the stove top (not too much because you want the bacon to be able to flavor the chicken - which it won't really do if they're fully cooked) then rewrap the breasts, flip them, and bake for another 15 minutes. maybe even finish the breasts under the broiler with 5 minutes left of cooking (turning once) to crisp up the bacon.
you could also try basting the bacon in its own fat while it's attached to the breast
