I guess those would be considered "old movies" to twentysomethings, but you'd almost have to deliberately avoid having seen them at some point in your life.

It didn't take much effort. I'm sure the movies listed in the OP were on TV a number of times but when the actor doesn't have drawing power you click right past.

The funny "old" movies (as in movies I don't remember coming to theaters) that we would look forward to seeing on TV and such were: the Waterboy, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, any Ace Venture, Wayne's World, Robin Hood: Men in Tights and Hot Shots. There are probably a few more but no Bill Murray movies come to mind.

When Zombieland came out my friends and I had a discussion about why they chose to use Bill Murray's house and gush about him like that. We decided that in real life, Emma Stone had not seen the movies she claimed were so funny.

No offense intended though, just different times.

I don't know if you're aware, but there actually was music recorded before 1989.

I am 24 and absolutely love Bill Murray movies.

You must have lived under a rock not to have seen Scrooged, Stipes, Groundhogs Day, etc....all classics.
