im not sure its stupidity. i think some people are really not happy. when LSU wins, they feel like they are better than the other teams fans. makes them feel better about themselves.

You're probably right. It's alarming how many people tie their self-worth, or lack thereof, to the successes and losses of a team. The ironic thing is that this seems to be more prevalent amongst those with no ties to the university other than following its athletics.

And when LSU loses, they feel like being classy makes them better than other teams' fans. Makes them feel better about themselves. Stupidity? How about hypocrisy? Not much class flowing around here after 1/9.
