Tellers have cash drawer limits, usually $25k. But, she will go to the cash vault to get more for you. If you are withdrawing hundreds of thousands, then there could be a delay. Branches try not to carry too much money, cause the bank doesn't make any interest with it sitting in a vault.

I had to cash a 15K check at Chase. They had to go to two other banks to get that amount of cash. I was like WTF? This is a bank right? Closed my shite down with them after that crap.
