nola and hanover were here before the bats changed and Ross will not struggle to hit .300

I get what your saying but those are bad examples.

I dont neccesarily agree though, if you think PM is passing on bigger better hitters to sign smaller guys that dont hit as well, that's pretty crazy. We just signed Gallo, who as beleived to be the most powerfull HS bat in the nation and Alex Bregman who set the new mexico record for HRs in a season at 17, as a JR in HS.

We just haven't recruited good enough and haven't developed hitters good enough, IMO.

Thats the key! This is friggen LSU! One of the top baseball programs in the country. Beautiful facility which always leads the nation in attendance. Talent wants to come here. I have a hard time believing LSU can only pick up scraps left behind by Stony Brook and other traditional non baseball powerhouses.

Agreed. Our hitters don't seem to be developing. You can easily point to JaCoby and Tyler as prime examples. We don't seem to adjust well at the plate as the count progresses.
