If he changed his approach, why did Grewe (and by extension, Mainieri) go out and recruit a bunch of slow guys that project (although apparently have not developed) as power hitters in college? Please identify the small ball aspects of our offensive philosophy, approach and talent.

Hanover and Nola were recruited and with the program before any of those bat changes ever existed. And your third example, Ross, is one of the few guys you can legitimately point to and say he improved at the plate this year. Not helping your argument.
