well, if it's as easy as getting a hitting coach, then i'm sure lsu can pay more than stoney brook to get theirs!

It has to be something. Let's just compare JaCoby Jones and Carmona. Let me start by saying that MLB scouts are ridiculous......it talent is there they find it. I can't find anywhere on this world wide web that tells me that Carmona was drafted out of high school. Jones was drafted in the 19th round and would have been higher if he would have been thought to sign.
Now obviously MLB thinks Jones is more talented than Carmona......so what happened at LSU? not coached up would be the best I can come up with.
