SB was just a good scrappy team. They did not fear the crowd. They enjoyed the spotlight. Their hitters could care less who was pitching. They are aggressive at the plate and work the count. There are times we play too much small ball. A guy on second is scoring position. Don't waste an out just to have him at third. I understand avoiding the double play but be aggressive take a base or hit and run. Don't just give up outs. First pitch swinging usually only does their pitcher a favor. Get to the bullpen. SB earned those wins we need to be more aggressive at the plate next year.
