Starting to really get into this.

I generally enjoy it in small doses. It is sort of like Cajun/Zydeco in that it's ok for a while but it can start to wear on you. Great to listen to on a sailboat.
Many, many years ago I saw Toots and the Maytalls live (opening act for the Who). Good stuff !

Watch the documentary "Marley." It's available on I-Tunes. I thought it was very well done. Ole Bob had 11 children from 7 different women. Jah know...

Been listening to the Marleys, didn't know there were so damn many of them!

Older reggae, in moderation. Toots, Bob Marley, for example.
The genre as a whole is just boring, most of it sounds alike, and it's overly repetitive to me. I respect it and its artists, but it just does absolutely nothing at all for me. Just my opinion, don't kill me for it.

I enjoy a lot of the old stuff but I only listen to it in small doses or if I'm in the right environment.
