Last time I was down there they werent, however things might have changed. We saw a few floating by in Caminada

Anyone catching any shrimp down there? A few years back I remember going with a cast net around this time of year and catching enough to boil

I was in Galliano yesterday and it appears that the only shrimp being caught are 10/15s and 60/80s. The shrimp place had nothing in between and said that wall all that was being caught...

Last week when I was camping down there, the people on both sides of me filled 48 qt icechests with 10-15 ct shrimp with a cast net at Elmers. I didn't have a cast net with me, but it's in the camper now, and I'm headed there next Tuesday.

And regarding crabs, I'll probably run some lines next week and I'll let you know if I do any good. I'll be there Tuesday-Friday.
