I'm not sure. Collison's points per 48, FG%, and assists have dropped each season (rebounding and TOs have improved). Vasquez was better this season than Collison was (higher PER), and Collison did a really poor job setting up his team in the playoffs.

When I think you can make a legit debate that our backup is better than the guy we're acquiring, then I sure as shite don't want to drop from 10 to 26 to make it happen.

I know going off of stats isn't the end all/be all be here's how they are compared from last season
DC: Minutes: 31.3, FG: 44%. Assists: 4.8, Points: 10.4
GV: Minutes: 25.8, FG: 43%, Assists 5.4, Points 8.9
