I like it....LSU plays in primetime when the whole country is sitting around watching tv...plus I don't do anything on Thanksgiving night anyway, except usually watch the Texas/ TaM game

The only reason the Hogs' game on Fridays has been a full house is that it has been for the SEC West for the past few yrs. Prior to that, with the student body off campus, duck hunting season, Black Friday, TS was never full & the atmosphere was definitely different. It may well be a great event for the Aggies, with its traditional game against UT, but don't try & force it on LSU as a great tradition. Everything that you describe as great fun for you means nothing to LSU fans. Thanksgiving is a family holiday here, with grandparents,grandkids,sons/daughters eating all day at home. This is another reason I detest the Aggies, they think their traditions are the greatest thing since gravey.

I am sure that all the LSU fans from Dallas, Houston, S.port, all of north La. all those towns not within a 2 hr drive will love losing their family traditions. And those cities do provide a lot of fans. Tiger Stadium mite not be half full, but it sure as hell won't be rocking or overflowing.
