Because its a game I was really looking forward to going to with a big group of Aggies friends and now I will never get to go and if it is on Thanksgiving night will not get to watch with friends I like to watch games with.

Well, you have a choice...

I don't understand your point, no one is saying they won't watch.

Never said anyone did. I was just saying that for those that are complaining NOW, some will give-in and go to the game, and the rest will still watch.

As to having a national audience, that I grossly over rated, LSU has a national recognition already.

So you honestly don't understand how being the ONLY college game on would be a benefit right at the end of the season?

I'm not a big tailgater, I get to the campus at about 4:00 for a 7:00 game. However I do understand that for many thousands of people, a Thanksgiving Night game will totally screw up their tailgating fun. It's part of what make LSU night games so great.

If playing Thanksgiving Night was so important to the Aggies they should have stayed in the Longhorn Conference. LSU shouldn't have to suffer for this. Yet another scheduling problem for LSU fans to gripe about.

You know, this is a good point, I have a choice. Where as previously I didn't have to choose. I would be able to spend Thanksgiving with my family and then have an LSU game to look forward to on Friday or Saturday. Now instead of having 2 enjoyable things to do over the long weekend, I'll only get to do one, but at least I'll have a choice.

As an added bonus, instead of a having a fun weekend with some Aggie friends in Baton Rouge at an LSU-A&M game in say October, we won't get to to make that trip because strangely people would rather spend a major holiday with family. Yeah, its awesome
