Going to game Friday night but hoping to grab something casual before.

Going out to eat Saturday night with the hubby on a much needed date night.

Check out any of the restaurants on The Hill. Can't go wrong. Zia's and Charlie Gitto's are two of my favorites.

Been to Charlie Gittos. Best pizza ever. Never been to Pappy's but I've heard good things and it was on an episode of Man v Food. Maggianos near the Galleria is good.

I haven't been since I was around 13 for a couple of Cardinals games, but St. Louis has some really good Italian restaurants.

Go to The Hill for Charlie Gitto's or Rigazzi's, though I think Trattoria Marcella is the best Italian food in St. Louis.

Tucker's Place is an awesome steak house for an insanely cheap price.

Pappy's is a must just because it's Pappy's. It's not the best BBQ i've ever had, but it's damn good.

Sweetie Pie's for some good Soul Food

Monarchs on Manchester just past McCausland Avenue at the edge of the "city" is a gem. Directions, take 64/40 to the Clayton Blvd exit, at the first light go left. Go @ 1 mile south to Mannchester go right. About one mile west there is a grocery store, at the light at the corner of the parking lot is the restaurant on the same side of the road. The building is pedestrian at best, the goodies from the kitchen tres magnifique. If the weather is cool sit on the "indoor" patio. The exterior wall has windows that fold up along two sides. If Greek or steaks do you. Michalos Chop House on McCausland a half mile from 64 will do you well. The Greek is true as the owner is first generation.
