frick you, I take two to three practice swings and I am not a slow golfer. My pet peeve is people who wait for others in their group to hit before they go to their ball/figure out what they are going to hit. This isn't the tour, play fricking ready golf. Also hate people who won't let me play through.

1. Slow play...seems like a popular one. This is not the PGA Tour where you have thousands riding on every shot. Play ready golf. While I'm hitting you should be going through your preshot routine, the only thing that should hold you up from this is if your ball is next to mine. This is especially true when putting. I don't need to see you plumb bob(who even still does that?), read the green, stand behind your ball with putter held horizontal lining it up, get over the ball and take 4 practice strokes, flick cigarette, and then finally putt.
2. A preshot routine that consists of more than one practice swing, or taking your practice swing like there is literally a ball in front of you(i.e. including a waggle or two)
3. Throwing clubs, you're right buddy, that wedge is the reason you flubbed that chip
4. Tearing up the course after a bad shot. Heard stories of a guy that I know, but haven't ever played with; actually ax chopping the hole after a missed putt. They said his putter hit just inside the cup and lodged in the small bit of grass just above the plastic cup.
5. Going along with 4, respecting the course/game in general. I have a buddy that is in my normal group used to literally get down on his knees to read a putt, and then line up said putt, and he continued to do it on every green on every course we played, no matter how many of us said something. Finally played with another buddy at his club, and the guy got their pro(but on the knees putt reader guy didn't know he was the pro) to play with us. First hole he gets on his knees to read the putt and promptly gets yelled at by the pro . Same guy a few holes after this, stood directly in my line. Again I said something, to which his reply was "it's okay I'm wearing softspikes...and the best part...I'm a landscaper, this grass will be fine" . Forget that you're a 230lb man and the depressions my ball now has to roll through to get to the cup.

Oh and my personal example in 1 and 2 is the example in number 5's dad . Just great golf etiquette in that family

SLOW PLAY is the #1 enjoyment killer for me.

I see guys who shoot in the 100's out there taking four deliberate practice swings on every shot. There practice swing looks nothing like the swing. they hit it 40 yards and then proceed to deliberate over which club to hit adn then take another four practice swings. THIS SHOULD BE BANNED from the game.

That and doing 40 laps around the green to read your putt (for a 7) from every conceivable angle. Unless you are in a big time tournament, get a read and hit your damn putt.

also, Guys too lazy to walk over to their ball and be ready to hit when their cart buddy is done. I see guys who have a ball 20 yards from their cart partner yet they will sit in the cart while their partner hits and then wait for him to get back in and drive him over 20 yards to his ball. At that point he has to get his yardage, spent five minutes picking a club and proceed with the requisite 4 practice swings.
