I don't like wide gap hooks...I like round bend hooks 3/0(Gamakatsu) very good hooksets.
I use that on 90% of all plastics.
Only use 2/0 when the 3/0 is too big.

Yes I really like them. They are very sharp and don't require a hard hook set to get really good penetration which I like when c-rigging or fishing soft plastics in deep water where sometimes its hard to get a solid hook set due to the amount of line you have out

I use 3/0 ewg offset shank gammies for worms. A thin wire hook makes a difference IMO.
Trokar costs too much for how many I go through and I remember them having problems with tips breaking when they first came out. I think they fixed it by now but I'm not gonna chance it when gammies work just fine and are cheaper
