Yeah but she was starting to get hit and LSU needed a K. A breaking ball pitcher like Mack is a better bet to get a K on a slapper/contact hitter than Fico. It just didn't work out.

The mistake was not pinch running for Wray in the 3rd...2 runs in and bases loaded again..instead..1 out...runner 1st and 2nd....Cal got out of it with no more damage
