Had one for ten years...

He was very large compared to a typical Weimaraner, weighing in at 145 lbs, and he thought he was a lap dog. Most Weimaraners weight around 80-90 lbs.

My neighbors have one around 80 lbs (female) and they have kids ranging from 3 - 10 y/o and they've had no issues.

Be ready to exersize them, they need to walk/run frequently....
