I literally called LA Boilers 20 minutes ago and reserved about 70 pounds. Forgot to ask the price as I assumed it was $1.99 which is what I was told earlier this week when I called around. The girl there said "We just changed the prices today". I mean it's only a $40 difference overall but it's the principal of it. It's freaking end of May, prices are supposed to be decreasing not jumping .40 cents.

They running out of bugs. Like fin said, ponds are dry and the basin rose sending all the bugs back into the swamp and with little demand they aren't going get em

Eta: not dry as in no water but just not producing

Eta2: no way I'd pay premium prices for what you're gonna get right now...
