I searched and didn't see any recent threads on this. A few friends took me to get Thai food in Nola at la Thai and I loved it. I was really craving some tonight. Any suggestions for a decent Thai place in baton rouge?

I will be hitting up my favorite spot tonight as well. I hesitate to tell you the name because it is still somewhat unknown and I want to keep it that way. I'll be ther at 7:30ish. If I tell you the name you owe me a beer.

They have amazing Pad Thai.

I like Thai Pepper a lot. Used to go there pretty frequently when I worked downtown. Matter of fact, I prefer the buffet there to Thai Kitchen. The pad thai, vegetable curry, peanut chicken are all good.

Do not go to Thai Kitchen on Perkins. It's just not very good. More of a Chinese/thai fusion. The two battling restaurants are Rama and Thai Pepper on florida. Thai pepper is open for lunch and has a really awesome and fresh lunch buffet. Way better & more healthy than any chinese buffet. They're open for dinner, and they have peanut sauce chicken, which is da bomb

Rama is only open for dinner. They are really good, but if you go there on a busy night you will be there for hours. The service is rough on busy nights. That's why the poster above didn't want you to know about it. Seriously, go early in the week or early in the evening. The shrimp chips for appetizers are really good, and they have the best pad thai. The Rama Duck is awesome too.

I haven't tried Thai Chili yet but I hear it's good.
