I joined Melaleuca (under my Mom)but I just bought the products & didn't try to recruit. I recently cancelled my membership as it was getting expensive each month and not worth it, esp when you have Walmart rolling back the prices every day.
ETA: Melaleuca has a sign up cost and they charge you some small fee ( under $30) every year
