I get what you're saying and that fouls like that were common in the 80's and 90's, but with the way this series has been officiated how is that not a flagrant 2? It was much worse than the foul by Hansbrough (which by your standards probably wasnt even a flagrant) or Haslem.

They definitely went soft, not sure what that has to do with Larry Bird being a thug though.

I took that comment as he let the Heat bitch his players around, and he wished they would have done more. Like he was calling for some retaliation
