sounds like your experience prevented the mistake.
a less experienced driver might not have had to foresight to do so.

definitely. If I would have continued on my first instinct to make a hard turn right to avoid the bass boat it would have slung her right into him. Once I realized that... I basically went straight towards him making him divert off course so I wouldn't sling her towards them anymore than I already did. We're only talking about a few seconds that all this took place. My experience + his experience probably kept something bad from happening
