The proof is really a score card that he probably wrote?
Definitely not saying this isn't legit, but I can play with 2 friends make up a score card, have them not say anything and have as much proof as he does.

if this guy plays on mini tours and the round was validated by two other players there is no way they made this up. idiots might do this but not decent golfer is going to make up a 55! maybe a 58, but not a 55.
Entirely possible if he was on a course he knows well and it was great conditions with no wind and the tees were set up just right....
