2k5 was amazing

Everything was a bit slower than your usual football game but give it 7-8 years of improvment and NFL 2k12 would be insane

Also Corey Dillion could not be tackled

The first person view was damn near impossible for me. I need to buy that game again

ETA NBA 2k6 was sweet back in the day

Was NFL 2k5 really that awesome? It's in Amazon for like 2.50 on the original Xbox

Yes. It originally sold for only $19.99.

They were trying to get the Madden people to buy it and try it out. I did and I have never been able to play an EA football game since.
